Prima and Graphic45 - gotta love it!

LAUGH OUT LOUD

My niece Paige and her BFF Ashlyn.

The first two Prima pages are the front and back of a single piece of patterned paper.

Products:

Prima:
Shabby Chic "Morning Poetry" patterned paper
Bronte Blooms
E-line flowers

sticko flourishes (a gift from my friend Deb-doodle)

The doily is cut from the flower packaging. The pearl is home made with liquid pearls and transparency paper. The quote is a KaiserCraft rub on and reads, "The shortest difference between two people is laughter." I scanned the pp and cropped in the butterfly. I than printed it out on cardstock and hand cut it, folding the wings up for dimension.

The Healing Room

I recognize that this is an uncomfortable subject for most people, but I think the best way to change that it to talk about it. Talking about it is also a way to help me heal. I am an incest survivor who thought I had recovered my memories almost 20 years ago. But as I spiraled deeper and deeper into depression, I realized that something was still very wrong. Just recently I have begun to have panic attacks again and I was also experiencing night terrors and reenactments of a far more intrusive and violent abuse. I went to stay with my sister and her family in Phoenix to undergo a week of intense EMDR treatment for PSTD. These are the gorgeous flowers they had in the bathroom for me in the beautiful, serene, environment they arranged in my healing room.

I used KaiserCraft papers and my homemade water distressed flowers.

My Creative Scrapbook DT for Sept.

I just love the Main Kit from My Creative Scrapbook for Sept. It is so versatile that it can go from the soft elegance of a wedding page right to the pool! This photo is of my husband Russ and his daughter Katie on the occasion of her wedding.

The pink flower is another of the crepe paper flowers.

BREATHTAKING

Although only one of these girls in my niece, they both call me Aunt Jackie. Ashlyn may as well have been family.

"The flowers are homemade using the water distressing method I posted earlier under the title "Water distressed flowers."

WISHFUL SWEET SUMMER DAYS

My oldest son Bryant and his wife, Danielle. Danielle had just cut her hair to donate to "Locks of Love."
