My Creative Scrapbook LE sneak peeks

All you LE kit subscribers at MCS are going to be soooooo thrilled when your Oct. kits arrive. You just won't believe all the goodies included. I made SEVEN layouts with mine and still have some things left over. If you love flowers and trim, like I do, you are going to be just thrilled! Of course if you love flowers on every single page, you may have to make some of your own, and it's so easy to do since there are so many great tutorials on the MCS tips and techniques thread.
And for you MK, Album kit and Creative Kit subscribers, I've seen the kits and you are going to be so excited too!

The leaves and flourish on this page are Silhouette cuts and not included in the kit. I made the flower also. You can find instructions in my Aug. archive under water distressed blooms.

The swirl on this one is cut with my Silhouette and is not included in the kit. I also made the blue crepe paper flower and yellow water distressed bloom.

PhD

I scrapped this photo of my middle son Ben before for his graduation album, but love this expression of his humor, so scrapped it again for me. He isn't actually a doctor yet, and his doctorate will be in Communication, Political Rhetoric, but I am anticipating! I no I have mentioned this once or twice before, but it bears repeating, over, and over, and over again. Me, proud? Nah!

Autumn

Russ and I rode up Huntington Canyon to see the fall leaves last weekend, and we were not disappointed! As you can see, it was gorgeous. I wish my little socialite grand daughter could have come with us to be in photos, but she had a play date. Russ WILL NOT be my subject, so I just got beautiful scenery!

Today’s scrapbook inspiration is "A Picture's Worth a Thousand Words" by Jackie Anderson. Jackie says, "This photo of my niece, Kielani, and nephew, Connor, was taken by their dad on a fishing and camping trip in Arizona. It is my sister's favorite photo, so I am going to frame this page and give it to her as a thank you gift for everything she has done for me, especially over the past few weeks."
