My Creative Scrapbook Limited Edition Oct. Reveal

MATT & RAY
I am so honored to have been asked to serve as a guest design team member at My Creative Scrapbook for the remainder of the year. Pam puts together the most gorgeous kits! This time I had the pleasure of working with the Limited Edition kit that was just chock full of Webster's Pages and 7Gypsies and Prima goodies, not to mention all the gorgeous trims!

This first page features my son Matt making friends with my sister's Golden-doodle Ray on our visit to Phoenix last month. Matt really wanted to bring him home with us!

BFF's

My niece Keilani and her best friend.

GROW

My grandson Gary up our old apple tree in the back yard.

SWEET KISS

My step-daughter Katie and her flower girl.

WONDER (FALL)

My sister Catherine, niece Kelani and nephew Connor on a farm in Salina picking out pumpkins.

The flowers are hand made using both the crepe paper flower tutorial and water distressed bloom tutorial. The swirl was cut with my Silhouette and is not included in the kit.

3 GIRLS AND A FOUNTAIN

My niece Paige in the middle and two of her college friends on the campus of the University of Arizona in Tucson from whence Paige graduated this past spring.

I cut the vine with my Silhouette, but kit subscribers could easily hand sketch and cut out a similar vine. I then bent the leaved and inked the crease as well as the outside edges. The flowers are cut from the yellow lace included in the kit, to which I added sparkly brown puffy glue for the centers. I used the left-over leaves from the lace as decoration on the chip board butterflies.

ENJOY LIVE

My niece Paige and one of college friends.

I cut the swirl with my Quickutz Silhouette, along with the leaves, so that is why you won't see this layout in the DT reveal. I also made my own flowers using the water distress method and Silhouette cuts.

I love your layouts - that carousel on the Sweet Kiss layout is so gorgeous! And I love the title for 3 Girls and a Fountain - such a cool take on the film title (love the film too by the way). All your layouts are inspirational. TFS!! :D
