Domestic Goddess

LOL!!!!!!!!!! This is my beautiful sister on Halloween last year dressed as a self described red neck housewife. I recast her in my layouts as a domestic goddess! You must promise to return to my blog on June 5th when I can post the GDT work I did for My Creative Scrapbook and see how truly beautiful she is in the layout I did of her and her life partner Brooke all dressed up for her daughter's college graduation.

I have had these pix for awhile and think they are so funny and have really wanted to scrap them, but not being a fan of Halloween, or Halloween paper, I just didn't know how to go about it until I had the brain storm to use this Graphic 45 "Domestic Goddess" collection! Brilliant irony don't you think!

I ran the patterned paper through my paper crimp-er, cut the title from a sheet of pp and layered it over Petaloo blooms adding the little Prima mini rose. The E-line pearls and felt are also Prima.

HA HA HA HA HA! Brooke snapped the second photo of her coming out of the bathroom when her stuffing slipped and I just couldn't resist the title! That will teach her to send me pix to scrap!!!!! LOL! I can't wait to see if this one gets pulled off from like they did the one of Paige posing in front of a girlie poster. Maybe you can't mention the word boob, or they won't like a photo of a woman in her underwear! Stay tuned!

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit!

Great 2 pager, Jackie. And thanks for my chuckle today! I remember the LO that got pulled. Can't wait to see what happens on this one! Love the colors and the use of the paper crimper!

Hi Jackie!

These two LOs are a riot! I hope the boob one doesn't get pulled on site! Some people should lighten up, really! Love them! Lori P (PaperLUV)

This just made by day! Love both of them! And surely to goodness they won't be pulled from! There's certianly no reason too. I remember how hurt you were when they pulled the one of Paige. I saw it before it was pulled and there was NOTHING wrong with it!

Thanks for giggles Jackie!

It's been a long week and I needed a good laugh! These layouts are hilarious! I like the paper that you ran through the crimper.
