Summer fun with my July kit from MCS

Maine Sunshine

My niece Paige and her BFF Ashlyn in Maine with Ash's family visiting her grandparents.

This month's My Creative Scrapbook kit, featuring Fancy Pants "Rusted Sun" collection, contained all kinds of fun transparencies to challenge my creativity! The background is one transparency sheet layered over white cardstock that I inked orange around the edges. The waves and surf boards are another transparency that I cut and layered over another piece of white inked cardstock and photo, which I then layered over the green pp. I used my craft knife to cut the surf board so I could layer the ribbon underneath.

Catch a Wave

My nephew Connor and niece Keilani enjoying the pool at their new Phoenix house soon after they moved there in 2002.

There are more of transparencies on this page, including the title wave, photo frame and floral corner. I used Fiskars Ripple wide scissors for the border.

Love what you did with these papers. I have them sitting on my table and now that I've seen your layouts, the little wheels in my head are turning. Thanks for the inspiration.
