My best friends... minus one

I have had many good friends over the years, but the most consistent and dearly loved are my sister and two brothers. This photo would have been even more special to me if my other brother Bill could have been with us when this was taken at my niece's graduation. Unfortunately work obligations kept him from being there. I am so looking forward to spending time with him and Eric on our family camp trip later this month.

I am notably a prolific scrapbooker. It is my passion! I am frequently asked how I store so many pages, particularly when they are so bulky and take up so much album space. I giggle whenever someone asks because I have yet to come up with an answer, and it is a question I grapple with myself! It would be somewhat resolved if I could get my soon to be 24-year-old son to vacate the basement and move out on his own since that would free up the wall of bookshelves in our downstairs family room that currently houses his massive movie and game collection!

Another solution is gifting my pages, which is why I bring the issue up in this post. I have once again done near duplicate pages, (of my own design this time)... one for me and one for my baby brother. Many of the layouts you have seen of Paige's graduation and friends will go to her and to my sister. In fact, my sister had to install a wall of bookshelves just to house her albums!

Between us, Russ and I have 5 grown children and only one of the daughter-in-laws scrapbooks, so I also give them albums and pages as gifts.

This page is for me and features SCRIBBLE SCRABBLE "Sweet Shop" paper collection, Webster's Pages "bloomers" and hand cut elements, Prima flowers and pearls, Silhouette die cuts and Magic Mesh.

And this page is a gift for my baby brother using the same products.

Thanks so much for dropping by. I am always delighted when I hear from people in far away places as well as close to home. Thanks for sharing in my addiction!

These are beautiful, Jackie. But everything you make is. You always have such wonderful details on your pages. You must have such a wonderful stash to play with!! May I ask whose floral ribbon that is? The color would be great for some of my wedding photos!!

I was wondering the same thing!! LOL I have been struggling with how to store my pages. I used to use nothing but CM products, but over the last year or two, I have ventured into the other products. Bulky pages means fewer pages in albums = more albums! I am running out of room!!

You must have lots and lots of scrapbook stash to work with because your layouts are really everytime completed.....Keep up the great work..Kind regards Rozella from the Netherlands.

Yeppers, running out of space myself. Just bought 2 nice 5 shelf bookcases this past week to house some of them. Fortunately, I have plenty of floor space but ... there will come a time when I have to start gifting some more myself!
